Brown skin girl is a soundtrack from ‘The Gift‘ album by Beyoncé, this track features Blue Ivy (her daughter) Wizkid and Saint Jhn.
Take it from me, this track ‘Brown skin girl’ is fire!
Beyoncé’s Lion King album: The Gift
You guys have probably heard a lot about the live-action remake of The Lion King, and Beyoncé’s new album ‘The Gift’ that dropped yesterday (19th July 2019), it’s her very own Lion King album.
Let’s not forget that Beyoncé plays Nala in the new movie, which was released very recently and is available across cinemas worldwide.
Many believe that the gift is more about Beyoncé than The Lion King, because the star appears on all but four of the songs, and her lyrical preoccupations; motherhood, female empowerment and the general awesomeness of Beyoncé, get more prominent than The Lion King itself.
Let’s also take note that The Gift is a companion piece to the official Lion King soundtrack, featuring songs inspired by the story and it’s setting, rather than new interpretations of Circle Of Life.
What really amazes me about The Gift?
The African features!!!
When I found out that our very own Nigerian faves were featured in this album, I was overwhelmed, and I am so glad that she thought to feature some of the best talents in our country and Africa as a whole.
According to Beyoncé “I wanted it to be authentic to what is beautiful about the music in Africa”
Which African artistes are featured in Beyoncé’s new album?
The album consists of 14 songs and the African artistes featured in it are;

What Beyoncé wore to The Lion King premiere
Beyoncé wore a stunning yellow Cong Tri gown with a super high leg slit, to the The Lion King premiere in London, and there’s no doubt that this look embodies ‘Nala’.
Beyonce and Meghan Markle
While she wore a glorious Alexander McQueen beaded gown to The Lion King premiere in Los Angeles.
That’s all for this post. I hope you guys enjoyed it.
